Job Description
ODEAM is looking for an experienced Integrity Engineer to support across multiple projects.
The Role:
Identify, manage and monitor all asset integrity issues which have the potential to impact the integrity of the asset, including; equipment & hardware, process & procedures, operational business systems, verification & assurance and personnel/third party competency.
The key aims of the role are:
- Effectively managing maintenance and engineering risks, in particular MAHs and the designated SECEs.
- Ensuring all engineering is carried out in line with legislation, ODE's Procedures and industry best practise.
- Ensuring installation integrity, reliability, availability and maintainability of systems and controls.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing of design work in accordance with statutory and contractual requirements and in conformity with good engineering practice, safety and environmental protection needs.
- Co-ordinate all Verification and Examination schemes, acting as a contact for the Independent Competent Person.
- Support and co-ordinate offshore (topsides) inspections.
- Work closely with facilities, production and well intervention personnel to ensure inspection programmes and schedules are a carried out and achieved in accordance with desired regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all design work is preformed, reviewed, checked and approved in accordance with the engineering procedures with appropriate levels of due diligence being carried out.
- Develop an annual and five year asset integrity plan.
- Maintain information flow through the engineering disciplines.
- Develop and co-ordinate risk-based inspection schemes and issue of detailed inspection work-packs to third-party vendors.
- Close liaison with internal stakeholders and the client (as required) on all technical matters, in particular the Independent Verification Body.
- Early identification of project changes and tracking/actioning of such to close-out.
- Compile engineering activity reports.
- Contribute to multi-discipline study reports for technical content.
- Preparation of technical correspondence to the client including technical queries.
- Preparation of technical back-up to variations.
- Implement, integrate and review planned maintenance programmes in order to meet statutory and vendor requirements.
- Review and comment on documents formally issued through document control.
- Review and control maintenance in backlog, in particular SECEs, adhering to ODE procedures.
- Act as focal point for technical discipline related platform issues.
- Attend meetings, in particular to provide discipline technical advice.
- Liaise with Technical Authority ensuring technical approval and specialist advice obtained as required.
- Complete Technical Authority Assessment and fulfill responsibilities as required.
Production and Efficiency
- Ensure that activities are managed within timescales and cost to meet contractual obligations and objectives.
- Avoid waste by education and instruction.
Safety and Environmental Related Tasks:
Organisation and Resources
- Provide professional guidance on training and competence required to comply with statutory requirements to meet current and future operating requirements in a safe manner.
- Assess personnel competence for relevant discipline.
- Provide technical input into the appraisal and performance review system and support with the monitoring of technical performance, as required.
- Carry out technical due diligence and audits on third party suppliers to ensure technical competence and skills.
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
- Ensure that human factors and SHEQ are considered for all engineering activities.
- Ensure SECEs are operated and maintained in compliance with the performance standards.
- Actively contribute to maintain a strong SHEQ culture through visible safety behaviours.
- Ensure sufficient capability and competence of third party suppliers to deliver maintenance and integrity activities.
- Ensure the implementation of adequate Health, Safety and Environmental work practices, procedures and methods to meet all statutory requirements and the Company SHEQ Management System.
- Liaise with Offshore personnel, Contractors, ICP, Regulatory Officials and stakeholders to maintain communication as required.
- Participate in accident and incident investigations as required.
- Form part of the Emergency Response team as required by the Company Emergency Response Procedures.

Qualifications:
- Professionally Registered Engineer with experience in a relevant Discipline (i.e. Structural, Civil, Marine, Mechanical or Materials).
- Professional Membership of a recognised engineering body and evidence of ongoing Continued Professional Development.
Competencies & Soft Skills:
- Extensive experience in an inspection, integrity or verification related function.
- Previous experience and knowledge of controls in relation to Major Accident Hazards.
- Experience and knowledge of writing, managing and monitoring SECEs, performance standards and verification schemes.
- Experience complying with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- MIST, Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET), Medical Certificate and secondary means of escape training i.e. Donut/S-cape - preferable.
- Excellent change control and organisational skills.
- Good analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to write reports for different audiences.
- Strong IT literacy in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with computer maintenance management systems.
- Flexible and able to travel for meetings, training courses etc.
